Touring Gear Bike shop is located in downtown Harbor Springs on Third Street directly behind The Outfitter.

From sales of bikes, biking clothes and accessories, bicycle service and bike rental (we even deliver), Touring Gear in Harbor Springs is your bicycle store. Harbor Springs is a favorite northern Michigan destination on Little Traverse Bay and the area has everything an outdoor enthusiast could imagine available!

Biking abounds - from rail trails to wondrous winding roads or a single track up the steepest of grades, it can be found here. Michigan’s famous “Tunnel of Trees” begins just outside the front door, plus Touring Gear can furnish you with maps for local popular bike rides.

 

Nub's Nihilator

Touring Gear co-sponsored the Nub’s Nihilator at Nub's Nob ski area this past fall. The event was a grueling 12-mile ride up the steep side of Nub’s Nob ski resort followed by a four mile run. The first annual was a tremendous success! Look for info on the 2nd Annual coming soon!

Group Rides: Sunday Morning Ride to Cross Village and back (40 miles). A beautiful ride with a great group of people! The way up we all stick together at a moderate pace (18-20mph) and the way back splits into groups for a fast ride home! Road bike, helmet, and a love for great coffee cake are a must. Ladies Only Road Ride: Thursday nights leaving from the shop. The course and distance will vary but with two groups every level is welcome! Leaving from the shop at 6:30, thanks and see you there!
